THE NEWMAN MONEY MUSEUM'S BEN FRANKLIN SPOKESMANNEQUIN

A press release issued this week by the firm that created it discusses the making of an animated figure of Benjamin Franklin at the Newman Money Museum in St. Louis. -Editor
PeopleVisionFX has produced a SpokesMannequin clone of Benjamin Franklin for the recently completed Newman Money Museum. The SpokesMannequin is seated on a raised platform near the entrance to the museum. The figure is activated by a motion sensor and welcomes visitors to the museum, presenting a brief history of money in colonial America.

The Ben Franklin SpokesMannequin is based on PeopleVisionFX's unique process for three-dimensional video projection that captures the voice, likeness and every nuance of facial expression of an actor playing the role of Ben Franklin. The character speaks with obvious relish about Franklin's pivotal role in the development of currency, thanks to his knowledge of nature and invention along with his apprenticeship in printing. According to PeopleVisionFX president, Wayne Sullivant, "Ben Franklin’s wise and thoughtful sense of humor makes for an informative presentation that is also highly entertaining.”
