The E-Sylum: Volume 02, Number 48, November 28, 1999, Article 3KEN LOWE LIBRARY SALE RESULTSThe Money Tree sale of the library of the late Ken Lowe began at 1:30 Saturday afternoon, in the same room as the NBS meeting. Over 20 floor bidders and two very active phone bidders participated. Some highlights included:
One of the most heavily bid items at the sale was lot 102, Ken's 1994 Redbook, signed by over 75 numismatic luminaries attending the 103rd ANA Convention in Detroit that year. Estimated at $100, the lot brought $450. The hammer prices listed above do NOT include the 10% buyer's fee. The mail bid portion of the sale closes December 4th.
